Rekindling the Flames of Memory

🔥 Rekindling the Flames of Memory

In our storytelling circles, we gather as daughters of a long, unbroken line, stepping into the hush where memory becomes fire. Here, we descend into the rich, buried heritage of women whose stories were scattered, silenced, or stolen by time.

Each session becomes a summoning — a deliberate invocation of our foremothers, calling their wisdom to rise from the quiet places and sit among us. Their breath becomes our breath. Their courage becomes our compass. Their unfinished sentences find new life in our mouths.

As we revive these narratives, we do more than honor the women who walked before us —

we awaken the flame within ourselves, the one that insists on truth-telling, on healing, on standing tall in the fullness of our lineage.

In remembering them,

we remember ourselves.

In speaking their names,

we reclaim our own.
